Power, Voltage, and Size—The Real-World Details
We spec’d the unit for 400V operation. Why does that matter? Because it lets us push more power through the heating element without needing bulky wiring and oversized contactors. In practice, that means quicker ramp-up and rock-solid temperature control, even when you’re running full tilt. The shortwave infrared tube focuses all that energy right where you need it—on the target. Not sprayed all over the machine. That tight focus is exactly what gives you a 40% space saving. The drying zone is shorter, so the conveyor and guarding can be more compact. You end up with a smaller footprint, but you don’t lose any of the throughput your line demands.
Materials and Design—Built to Stay Clean and Stay Tough
The halogen tube sits inside a quartz envelope, which handles thermal shock and keeps output consistent. And since the tube runs hot, we added a hydrophobic coating on the outside. That coating fights off contamination and makes cleaning as simple as a quick wipe-down—so you spend less time on surprise maintenance. For electrical reliability, we use an R7s connector. It’s an industrial-grade termination that holds up to vibration and the constant heating and cooling of a production line. Hooking it up is straightforward: wire it, set your control parameters, and it just behaves—predictably, day after day.

On a screen-printed glass line, this dryer dries inks and treatments fast, with tight control. The whole thing is integrated into one module, so it drops right into your line and cuts installation time. Just one note: with that level of thermal density, you do need adequate cooling and airflow around the unit to keep ambient temperature in check.
