On the container line, the inspection heater is the gatekeeper. If the glass isn’t held at a repeatable inspection temperature, thermal drift hides the defects—micro-cracks get masked, coatings look uneven, and the reject rate climbs. That bleeds yield, and it eats up time.

What matters, technically

We build the inspection heater around short-wave quartz infrared elements because they dump heat straight into the glass surface and don’t waste it heating the air. The payoff is speed and control you can count on. Typical performance: 2–3 kW/m² power density, 1.5 kW/m² average loading across the active zone, and 10–15 kW total load for a standard inspection station. Warm-up from ambient to 220°C happens in 60–90 seconds, and the heated zone holds ±5°C uniformity across the inspection envelope. Control is PID with SSR drive, and we match the heater body and terminals to the machine footprint so it drops in as a direct replacement.
