If you’ve ever dealt with glass containers, you know the headache of internal stress. You have to get the temperature exactly right, or you’re looking at a lot of wasted product. The problem is that old-school convection ovens are slow. They have this annoying “thermal lag” that basically acts as a bottleneck for your entire plant. It’s frustrating. That’s why we lean on shortwave infrared (SWIR) heating. Instead of wasting time heating up all the air around the glass, these lamps shoot energy directly into the surface. It’s lean, it’s fast, and it actually lets your annealing keep up with a high-speed production line.

A few things to keep in mind
